Chance Meeting

I sat on the balcony in the room Ame had provided us and looked out over her garden. It was beautiful, especially in the late evening with the sun setting beyond the borders of her country. Although the scene in front of me was the last thing on my mind.

'She didnt remember'. I frowned as i went over the meeting in my mind.

She was the same as Yumemi. They had completely forgotten everything. There had been no recognition at all when Ame set eyes upon me. I shuddered a little, and wrapped my arms around myself.

"Jasmine."

Hearing my name brought me out of the daze i was in only to realize the sun had set and the only light in the distance was the stars shining. I turned to see Dion, again with his worried expression. He cared so much for me and all i could do is make him worry.

"Yes?" I asked quietly.

"Its getting cold out so maybe you should come in. Maybe get some sleep." He says coming towards me.

I just nod and move towards him. But instead of letting me pass him he grabbed me and pulled me into a hug.

"I know there is alot going on in your head Jasmine. But please if there is anyway i can help you let me do so."

I look up and all i can do is nod. For a moment everything seemed alright. I had a place i belonged and finally remembered who i was. Maybe noone else did, but i could and would make them remember our past. And once we all remember the war would end and we would all have a place. I doubt we could ever go back to Japan but a part of me knew that noone else would be willing to leave this land. This was where we belonged. I pulled myself free from Dion.

"I am going to walk around the palace. Perhaps maybe i can run into Ame and talk to her more privately than we were able to do this morning."

"Do you want me .... " Dion started before i cut him off.

"No i shall be fine. Kina is at peace with Mizutenrai. Nothing shall happen."

I made my way out of the room and headed down a long hall. The palace was decorated as to exume a calming presence and i couldnt help but think that it suited Ame very well. I walked aimlessly until i found a set of stairs. Something was guiding me and before i knew it i was in the garden. I smiled a little and went to find a bench to sit on by the fountain in the center. What i saw there shocked me and made me freeze in my spot.

Enkai sat there deep in thought, as i had been not to long ago. He had a sad expression on his face and my heart ached at the thought of his sadness.

"Lord Enkai it is quite a surprise to see you here."

He looked at me and stood quickly. He smiled for only a second and his eyes lite up before his expression changed to calmness. It was like he was trying to hide back joy to see me. It looked like for a second the expression he gave me after chasing Yumemi and I down after we fled the city.

"Please dont be so formal Jasmine. We agreed to that at least."

He smiled but it was forced. His eyes were sad and i wanted to make it go away.

"Yes we did agree to that Enkai. So tell me, what brings you to Mizutenrai?"

"A peace treaty with the queen. After the last battle ... " He sentance trailed off while he took a moment to compose himself. "The war must end."

He ended it bluntly. He was hiding something from me.

"Enkai, if i may be so formal, what is troubling you so deeply?"

He sighed and shook his head. It only took him a minute to decide to confide in me.

"Ame doesnt remember." He said sadly sitting down again.

Everything froze. My heart stood still and words spilled from my mouth before i could stop it.

"Remember what?" I spoke the words cautiously

"Me .... or the sakura trees .... or japan." He looked up and smiled sadly. "But i am sure you have no idea what i am talking about."

I couldnt control myself at that moment. I fell to my knees and the tears started falling freely. I covered my face with my hands and they were wet with tears in a second. Before i knew it Enkai was on his knees beside me pulling me close trying to comfort me. He had no idea what had happened.

"Jasmine please stop crying, whats wrong?" He seemed panicked

"You remember too. Noone else does. I found Yumemi and she didnt even remember me. I thought i was all alone. I couldnt make anyone else remember no matter how hard i tried."

Everything spilled out between the sobs. And the more i spoke the closer he pulled me. He was shaking as much as i was by the time i had calmed down. Once i stopped crying Enkai helped me to my feet and he smiled at me. A true smile, the smile i had seen hundreds of times in all our years together.

"Im glad to have you back Jasmine."

"Me too." I smile back wiping tears away.

We started talking, reminising about Japan. The night passed quickly and neither of us noticed.

Confession

A very flustered Ame came down the hallway after a long meeting with Enkai was finally over. She sent a messenger to Emiya with the documents for the treaty and found only her guards waiting outside for her. Even Entei had left due to his captain duties. She rounded a corner and nearly crashed into Tamahome who was also coming her way. 

"What's the rush?-" he chuckled with a raised eyebrow "The world doesn't end for the next couple of millenia at least you know"


"Sorry Tamahome " Ame said adjusting her tiara "The meeting's done-I told Emiya to draw up the treaty-he must be happy"

"Wow ,sealing two country's fate took the pair of you sometime...but is it me or is that his royal ingeniousness makes you want to run and puke too?" Tamahome grinned.


"Well the sealing wasn-what was on his ..mind...um..well .in a manner of...speaking. " Ame said with some trepidation.


"I don't find that hard to believe coming from the man who reputedly prefers virgins over dessert ...so what  was on his mind could you enlighten me?" Tamahome said taking  a step closer and looking directly into Ame's eyes with some suspicion.

Ame leaned closer quietly and said in a low voice "Can we talk about this in some room and not in the hallway where myriads of servant eyes and the like are watching?"


Tamahome did not look pleased at that. "So I am guessing whatever was on his mind is less saintly and preachable than the Holy priests words in the temple? Well fine-please let us go to your boudoir. I can't wait to hear the reasons for which I will kill him in the near foreseeable future"


Ame rolled her eyes and pulled him into a nearby room,one that served as a spare room for dining. Sheets hung over most of the furniture although some of the window seats were not covered. The air was slightly musty from non use. She locked it with her bodyguards on the other side(who she noticed exchanged a look with each other before she closed the door).
 
 Ame paced to the window and said "He thinks I'm lying to him when I told him I didn't recall my memories " and she pouted puzzled by Enkai's behaviour.


Tamahome crossed his arms "Hmm..I wonder if that is a kill worthy reason" Ame cracked a smile and he said "Oh well,since you did not provide me with a suitable reason I think I'll just kill him because I hate the color of his coat ." Ame burst out giggling and Tamahome smiled. He then gave Ame a serious look "Well on a more serious note pay no heed to what that fool says .While why he thinks you would bother to lie to him about your mental health is an  attribute to that deluded notion that he has." Ame looked confused at this 
"You know about the whole solar system and every female in it-all being there for the sole purpose that is him" He said tartly rolling his eyes.

 Ame giggled again and said "I wouldn't,except he genuinely looked like I broke his heart when I told him " She pensievly looked out the window "I mean,why would he care? Even though he has been flirting with me. But he looked so serious when he asked about my memories. Like,well I don't know as if they were important to HIM. Any guesses why are beyond me" Ame said with wrung eyebrows her fingers tracing shapes on the window.

"He genuinely looked distressed? " Tamahome asked annoyed and raised his eyebrows further "Aren't you sympathising a little bit too much? Where is that little otter creature that always tailed you before anyway ?Occupy yourself with him not this Lightning flirt. Ame, he just looked serious-you may believe his sincerity when he drops dead .At all other times please remember the guy is a nonchalant impenitent rake" Tamahome stepped closer and wrapped his arms affectionately around Ame's waist.Ames eyes widened at this daring move on his part-he usually acted more proper than this. She tried to laugh it off.


"My fox cub is with the maid I can't have it tailing me in a meeting " She poked him pointedly "Impertinent he may be but I don't sympathize for no reason-I'm TELLING you something is up. I wish I knew what...though it is suspect he came after Jasmine came to the kingdom."
She paused at this and said thoughtfully "You think he likes her?"
Tamahome looked mischevously at her and said "To put it in the nicest possible way : he likes anything vaguely female and preferably untouched so my answer is a) : yes could be..who cares? and b)what are you doing for dinner tonight? "

Ame giggled and then stared at the mischevous look on his face.He was being serious.
"Hold on. WHAT?! YOU..EH?" She found herself stuttering in a not-so-royal manner that Emiya would have killed her for but she hardly cared " Did..you just..ask me.out? On a..dinner date?"

He smiled genealy "Yes.Are you free? "

Ame's mouth open and closed like a fish out of water  and she stuttered again "I-I -That was direct! Since when did you become so-bold?" She stared up him ,blue hair,green eyes and all and was very aware of how warm his arms felt around her. She remembered how much in love with him she was-but this? She didn't expect THIS-it was straight out of the blue!

He replied "Since I realized I might have competitions for you attentions ....aaaaand
Ame was so stunned at this she burst out giggling again "That General was corny..oh so corny"  and she continued giggling and poked his chest again.
" Oh? perhaps some sort of guarantee is in order "
Tamahome abruptly dragged her face in and kissed her deeply.  Ame's head instantly blanked out and her eyes closed. It seemed nothing had prepared her for how delicious a kiss-and a sudden one at that-from him would feel. She leaned in and felt him smile into the kiss and he held her tighter. Her heart started to yammer in her ears.And as sudden as he kissed her he retracted ,loosening her waist. She opened her eyes (wait when had she closed them?) and blurted " I'm free?"

He laughed at her ,pleased with himself and his pleasure increased when he saw the scarlet blush across her face "Ha!-well now you are"
Ame felt indignant and peeved said "Oi show some respect I'm the queen!"
Tamahome smirked and said "Hmmm ,not now for now you are the woman that I uhh...well the woman that I dont want to see in the hands of that rake .You have exactly two seconds to choose now : you're options are yes....or yes" Ame gawped at him and then "Ooops,time's up! See you tonight then and take care to be punctual. We dont want the queen to be setting a bad example now do we ?" He dropped his arms and sailed away to the door . Ame's jawdropped and she spluttered 
"Wait hold it!I never-Tamahome GET BACK HERE!" She yelped as he unlocked "Wait! did you just confess to me?!! Damn you DO IT PROPERLY!!"
He opened the door and exited ,not bothering to look back and only a wave in acknowledgement that he had heard her,saying "Dear madam, if you want to interrogate me, I'll be at your service tonite at 10 sharp. "
Ame stared at the now closed door light hearted, stunned and properly confused. she thought dealing with Enkai would be a puzzle-now she had someone else to wonder on too.

Enkai's strange behaviour.

Ame looked sharply at Enkai at this “It’s...I’m not used to  ...people being affectionate if I do not know them Lord. Forgive my sharpness if it offends you”.

Enkai fairly gawped at her and stammered “Not know? But surely you didn’t forget what happened at Ashenvale...I mean” the sentence fell to an uneasy silence as Ame clasped her hands together worried.

“I can’t avoid this now...I have to tell him…I’m just not in love with him...I must apologize...I have to...”  thought Ame in panic.

 “Enkai...I didn’t forget. How could I? You treated me so kindly even though I should feel angry and indignant; I don’t feel as angry as I rightly should. I’m sorry Enkai-but the truth is.” Ame bit her lip anxious then explained "Enkai…before I came to this kingdom…or ascended the throne...there is a period of when I lost my memory. It’s severe memory loss and it also means I can’t remember anything before this kingdom. I don’t remember my family, where I grew up, nothing.  My best doctor says that nothing can be done about it; I have to let it come back on its own. “

Ame swallowed her throat dry continuing and a twinge of pain formed in her head and then left her “There is the worst possibility...that it might never come back. Ever. But that night, at your place-Enkai, I used you. I wasn’t attracted to you but the whole thing seemed so familiar I thought perhaps –I thought going with that familiarity would jump start my remembering. I’m so sorry I just-wanted to remember so badly that I did not think of the consequences.”

Enkai’s face was a mix of confusion. Ame tried not to look at him saying in trepidation “I’m not in love with you Enkai. It was a mistake. And in the end all I did was hurt myself and more than that-I gave you the wrong idea. I'm...so sorry Enkai. Can you ever forgive me?”

Enkai’s face hardened. “So-you think that night was a mistake? Of all the-” .His voice was tinted with anger and frustration. The atmosphere in the room  became stony as Ame’s face cast down in fear did not dare look up to his. She was sure he would be furious and angered. More so since she had purposely made out the truce first. The patterns on the carved table never seemed more appealing than the thought of looking up into his face. After what seemed like an eternity Ame unwillingly raised her head to Enkai’s face and cringed-his face had become impassive looking directly at her as if she were glass.

 “Ame...you disappoint me.”  he said harshly.

She winced inwardly and said “If you do not like me now-indeed if you hate me-I would welcome it for I detest myself for leading you on ”.

Enkai leaned forward “So you say…nothing...was apparently in your mind that night? That you felt nothing, not a flit of attraction for me?”

“I’m sorry...I really don’t think so...”

“Indeed I am disappointed for I refuse to believe you.  You expect me to believe that? Clearly you have rationalized this so much you have been led to think so by your political head” he said disgusted.

Ame felt like an electric jolt has shocked her “Excuse me?”

“You lie about having no feelings for me that night...and this rubbish about lost memories...of course you remember how could you not-“ Enkai

“How DARE you imply I lie about my well being Enkai. How would know anything about me? One shared moment between does NOT make you qualified to accuse me like that!” Ame fairly shouted. Ame was so angry she felt like she might attack him. She had her memories locked up, she might never get them back and what was more she trusted Enkai with this hoping he would understand. Instead here he was having the nerve to accuse her of pretending! She stood abruptly and made for the door, planning to leave till her anger had cooled down when she felt Enkai grab her hand.

“Let go! Leave me alone!” Ame yelped as he swiveled her around and took her by the shoulders. She struggled not wanting to look at him, feeling her anger take hold and disappointment. “I said let go!”

“Wait! Are you seriously telling me you don’t remember...anything...about before?!”

“No! I DON’T! Why won’t you believe me?! Let go of me! I’ll call my guards if you don’t stop!”

“Ame...” Enkai voice held such urgency and disbelief that she stopped trying to get away and looked him square in the eye. To her surprise she found his green eyes looking at her with a sad intensity and his mouth was softened. 

“You….really don’t remember?” 

He repeated with such insistence Ame felt obliged to lie, but caught herself. 

“No Enkai I DON’T remember anything...I’m telling you the truth. “ 

Enkai finally let go of her shoulders his hand gently holding hers.  He looked as if someone had told him shattering news but Ame could not for the life of her get why he was so concerned over her mental well being. What was it to him if she didn’t remember?

Enkai looked sadly at her and then let go of her hand as he went to the window in a state of quiet shock, leaning against the window sill.

“But…why can’t you..?” He turned towards her with a confused look and Ame suddenly felt very small. It was like being scolded for something she had done wrong but, how was it her fault if she didn’t remember?  And why did he care?

“I am sorry for my harsh words Ame-”said Enkai dazed “It’s just. ..I was so sure.”

“Well you were wrong” clipped Ame still miffed at his odd behavior. Enkai glanced at her before turning back to the window. Silence filled the gap with a confused Ame left wondering what to do. She decided to take her leave and said 

“Since this conversation is over-shall I have Emiya draw up the paper work Enkai?”

Enkai nodded mutely “Then I take my leave of you” Ame said uncertainly and she moved towards the door. She glanced back as she did and Enkai’s back was still turned facing the windows looking on the city below them.

She didn’t see him turn briefly to watch her leave.

Surprise truce

Enkai said “Ame why are you sitting over there? Was this meeting only us or am I wrong?”

Ame smiled,her senses alert “No only us Lord Enkai. Unless you wish for someone else to join us?”

Enkai looked amused “Oh no. But then why not be comfortable and sit near me instead of acting like a stranger? If I remember well,before our brief-moment-was interrupted in my palace..well” Here he placed two fingers deliberately on his mouth,as if reliving something. Ame knew full well what he meant and felt her cheeks sear. Slightly embarrassed ,she replied "Fine let's drop the formalities. But first let's work out our kingdoms truce. If we come to a peace I have conditions you have to adhere to."

Enkai leaned back ,arms resting lightly on his chest. "I'm listening"

"First-you must retract the army that is right on the border with my kingdom. According to the laws of the land you are encroaching on my land and I won't have you drive out my own people from their homes."

"Ah but all is fair in love and war my Lady. You cannot expect me to string back my army when we have conquered that pretty piece of land fair and square"

Ame felt her temper rise "Fair? I beg to differ-you invaded the region and took it for your own. That is MY kingdoms and my peoples land"

"And now it belongs to me" said Enkai raising an eyebrow.

Ame calmly said "And if we went about invading and plundering and claiming that every piece of land was our own how wonderful should the state of the kingdoms be.?"

"True but I see no reason why you should want it-"

"-that is not the point at all. " Ame clipped tonelessly. Enkai was clearly being difficult and yet his face told he didn't care for the invasion. Was he playing mind games with her? If he was she might be quite willing to give him a dressing down with a sword.

Ame rose annoyed and went to the window,thinking that Enkai was really difficult to figure out. One minute he seemed genuinely in love with her,the next playing political mind games. She tried to calm down though she felt her cheeks were warm. Enkai face followed her form to the window and playfully shrugged saying "Why do you want it my queen?Because your politicians want you to get it? For the honor of your kingdom? What good does a piece of land mean to you high in your royal palace where you are pampered night and day?"

Ame temper flared and she faced him angrily-"I'm asking you to move back because that land belongs to the people you took it from. That may be a piece of common land to you,but to the people who lived their-the fishermen,the farmers and yes even some of Mizutenrian army-have their homes there. Not their HOUSE ther Homes. I'll be damned Lord Enkai before I let anyone take away the place they grew up,where they lived and loved and played as children just so you can have an extra bit of land to call your own" she said raising her voice slightly. She felt insulted he would even insinuate she was doing this prestige.

Enkais eyes conveyed shock but his face curved into a smile. He then shrugged "Ok. Since you feel so strongly I agree that I will take my men back across the border. Do you have any other conditions?"

Ame blinked and stopped her jaw dropping "Wait-what?"

"I said I would do as you wanted regarding the retreat of my army. Do you have any other conditions?"

Ame sunk into the window seat,all the fight gone out of her. Silence as she blinked nearly gawping at Enkai's sudden decision. What was wrong with this man? He gave up so easily...

Ame composed her thoughts,silently breathing a prayer of thanks-she finally had her truce! An uneasy one to be sure and surprising but she had done it!

"I would to propose to a collection of intelligence from both our kingdoms. I'm sure you heard we-Mizutenrian-are right in the middle of negotiations with Kina. We have reached an Uneasy truce,but perhaps Kina may let us collabarate with them on intelligence too.."

"For what purpose Ame dear?" Enkai said ,crossing his legs cheekily.

Ame froze at the pet name ,annoyed,and said "Well I think Dark Kingdom is...in the middle of us being at war with each other. For what reasons I cannot yet understand" Ame resumed her seat opposite him ,puzzled.

"Hmmm.." he said "And?"

Ame remembered  how she found a dark spy when she had washed on his land after their battle. She pushed away how fierce his face looked and the memories of their fight,and told him how her chase had ended in her capture.

"Lord Enkai something ..weird..is going on. Well do we know why the ancient rivalry between our kingdoms was-but it feels we are missing something vital. Why do I find dark spies in your kingdom? How was it that strange things are happening solely in my kingdom alone,while as I see it,most other kingdoms have no such strange happenings?"

Enkai leaned forward eyes furrowed while she continued "I need your help Enkai..please..I think someone part of the Dark kingdom is trying to destabilize my country and I don't even know why!"

Enkai looked distinctly troubled processing all this. He looked sharply at her and asked "Ame....is that why so many bodyguards are around you all the time? did someone make an attempt on your life?"

Ame fell silent remembering Haruka and shook her head "No..but. Someone else..I cannot confide it to you even if I wanted to"

Enkai looked truly alarmed at this and concern and worry filled his face. He reached for Ame's hand and she flinched away. Surprised he said "Why do you act as if it is I who has hurt you in some way?

Ame Meets Enkai

"Are preparations for the meeting complete Emiya?"

"Yes your highness, now hurry up, we can't keep Lord Enkai waiting"

       Ame bit her lip anxious and slightly miffed at Emiya's urging her to look perfect for the fire lord.It was morning and the bright morning sunlight had filtered through the high paned windows of the Dress room where Ame had again changed. A silver grey dress with blue trim at its flared sleeves snugly fit her form. The skirt hung to her calves straight cut fringed with tiny silver gems which sparkled with the light hit them. A filigree tiara completed the look atop her forehead, her long hair left loose with tendrils left at her forehead.

         She adjusted the tiara again and followed Emiya to the central meet room, her bodyguards in tow. Thoughts were rapidly running through her head, what she should say, how to open the conversation, how to reach an agreement. Wincing inwardly she also wondered how she would deal with Lord Enkai's obvious infatuation for her. She tried to feel something for him, even though she felt attracted towards him, it did not compare to the swelling love she felt in her chest for General Tamahome.

        During the night she privately vowed to make sure Enkai did not find out about it. She would have to tell Emiya although God knows when that would be. She feared Emiya's volatile temper more than she realized even if she was a royal above his station. Emiya felt like a father, a wonderful mentor, she was frightened that if he did not approve he would sever himself from her. It was a bitter thought one she could not bear thinking about. 

Entering the room (with whispers of courage and advice from Emiya), Ame looked back briefly and saw Tamahome give her a sly wink and smile. Encouraged she allowed the doors to close and turned her attention on the Lightning Lord before her.

"Water Gods WHY does he have to look so handsome?" was the first thought out of her head when the doors locked.

          Without his armor and huge blue cape Enkai had definitely dressed the part for what could only be described as formal date wear. A crisp collared shirt buttoned with light beige trousers fitted him so snugly he looked like nothing Ame had seen before. Her hair was combed back and shone with pale high lights where the sun hit it and his blue green eyes looked at her mischievously.  Despite her previous anxiety, Ame breathed and felt some of her nervousness leave her.  A gold bracelet hung on one hand with leather tan shoes completing the ensemble. Ame thought  he would make money off his looks alone,given the chance.

He had been lounging in one of the armchairs left for their talk, his feet up on a red plush footstool,but stood up to greet her when she entered.

“I see you take no qualms about making yourself at home Lord Enkai" Ame observed with amusement.

Enkai laughed saying " That's how I am Lady Ame. I'm afraid I am without any qualms or manners since I have already met you twice and it is a bore doing all this bowing and curtseying for royalty sake. You are a ruler,no doubt, but I prefer less formal ways of treating people. But I have to admit, you have impeccable style in decorating  a meeting room".

 Ame took her seat across from him on another plush chair and folded her arms demurely,while Enkai quirked an eyebrow.

Story synopsis.Part II

Enkai meanwhile after walking around the streets beside the palace at Kina returns to rest at the palace. The next day he wanders in the gardens and meets Jasmine again. On a moment of passion both lean in and kiss each other.  They share the scent of what could have been a blossoming romance but both seem sure it wasn’t meant to be and part ways.


Back in Mizutenrai Ame in her dreams ,sees a man who seems to know her and comfort her like no one else-this ends with the dream etched in her mind but his silhouetted face escapes her since she cannot handle the strain on her mind at this time. Her memory concerning the before journeys have been forgotten but she experiences pain trying to snag even a ghost of a memory.


In Aurora flashback dreams of the seven together float through Faina's mind though she has again forgotten them when she feels blood on her cheek-which isn’t hers. Alarmed she tells Kyousou her fears and they search the palace Faina alarmed that the voice who knew her also knew her real name.


In the Water kingdom Ame practices her swordsmanship with Tamahome and recalls a conversation with Haruka via the mirror she gave him. They had debated about the assassin and who could have sent him. Haruka warns Ame to be careful and they chit chat before they stop and take leave of each other.


Jasmine waves goodbye to Enkai and remembers what she now knows is a memory of Enkai giving her favourite jewel in what seems to be a Japanese ramen shop with Ame is working beside her. She also remembers sees how in love Ame and Enkai were and understand why she did not fall in love with Enkai. Unfortunetly what she also remembers is the face of Yumemi when she shows her the jewel on her return home and the rage Yumemi shows when she goes after Enkai nearly killing him .Its only by Jasmine intervention that he is saved.  Jasmine then remembers fleeing the village-only to find  Enkai and Ame follow them and discovering they too can control lightning and water respectively.


So at this point Jasmine alone remembers they were friends previously.


Meanwhile Tsuke knows now he is being possessed by Camerian-a powerful demon spirit though at this time who or what he was previously is unknown.


Koudou meanwhile remembers training in his fathers dojo thought he knows his dads dojo is NOT in this world nor does he remember much after that. But what does remember is the feeling of power leaping inside him-and then he sees his village destroyed and knows he was the one responsible for it.  He then goes for a midnight walk in the forest and disappears.


Two months after alliances have been made there is a battle between Ashenvale(lightning kingdom) and Mizutenrai. Though Lightning elementals have the upper hand when it came to water,Mizu army did not back down and both rulers met each other on the battle in a one to one duel. Ame with her water sorcery and swiftness tried to go against battle worthy Enkai-but Enkais experience beat her further and further down. Ame called on the last of her strength and remembered a reservoir of water that was just under their feet-to Enkais surprise and horror she used an ancient attack which was so powerful it defeated both him an his army in one swoop. Of course Ame did not survive the battle wholly unscathed-bloody bruised and beaten she sustained a critical injury to her shoulder when Enkais sword stabbed her from behind.Her energy was also sapped up due to the intensity of the attack.

And it scarred her heart for she wept unknowingly in front of her army.

Meanwhile Tsuke in the dark kingdom frantically tries to keep the evil Cameron's soul in check.In haste he stabs the sword that he knows is connected to Cameron into the ground and recites an incantation to hold him in his mind and seal the evil of the sword.But the barrier he creates he knows will not hold for long and Cameron whispers this to him. It's made all the worse for Tsuke knows Yumemi has feelings for Crave thought she denies it vehemently. Cameron makes use of this when Yumemi realising Tsukes body holds Cameron soul, ties him to the bed and tries vainly to seal him. Cameron mercilessly breaks the barriers in Tsukes mind and unseals the sword using Tsukes body claiming Tsuke's body as his own-but Yumemis dark powers blasts him into the wall .

The scene ends unknowingly with Yumemi exhausted by her unreleased power and Cameron in awe and mild disgust of the girl with such dark power to force his hand.


In a secret meeting in the Nexus(wind)kingdom We see Haruka leaving the palace on an unknown errand and journey.


On the makeshift tent on the now deserted battlefield Ame recalls her journey with Faina when she first came to Koukou Oukoku.She also remembers how Faina was able to calm a fierce Kyousou into joining them so that they could leave what they now know is the dark kingdom. What happened to them thereafter was the spreading or rumors of their coming which lead to them begin escorted to their kingdoms respectively. A few days later while moving resources around the kingdom news reaches them of a dark cloud on the border of water and dark-and to their horror when they look outside a thin cloud on the horizon indeed indicates Queen Yumemi has declared war though why is a reason Ame does not understand. Captain and General both are reluctant to let Ame join them but she stubbornly refuses.

It turns out that Enkai was there when Ame came to the water kingdom mud stained and holding a sword.Enkai was sure he knew her but she gave him no sign of recognition as the horse that carried her went to the palace.

In the Aurora palace Faina hears news of Yumemi going to war with Ame and is shocked-she cannot believe that Yumemi has acted on her own and wants to go and stop her. Kyousou intervenes and Faina slaps him and immediately regrets doing so.Kyousou then tells her to stay put and prepare for battle.
Faina then writes a letter to Ame telling her how sorry she is and sends it by one of her birds to trace Ames whereabouts.


Around this same time Tsuke-overpowered by Camerons soul-dies. Dunlop and Crave himself manage to put the blame on Ame claiming a water spy came in and shot him.Yumemi seing the blue arrow rom a Mizutenrian arrow at the dead Tsuke is blinded by anger and sorrow . She declares war on Mizutenrai.

On the battlefield Ame delivered a devastating tidal wave attack on Queen Yumemis army. But before she was swept away she was wounded by Lady Yumemi who was then possessed by Cameron-The Dark god of dark kingdom. Ame awoke in Ashenvale(unknown to her),when she awoke muddy and injured. While encountering dark spies on the land,she fell prey to the soldiers of Ashenvale and was taken prisoner by the King.  After a brief encounter with King Enkai, Ame was restored but imprisoned and later held a council with King Enkai,realising that both she and the king may be the object of someone else's evil design.


Meanwhile in Kina-Jasmines phoenix reunited within her-Queen Jasmine senses her sister and goes to meet her. Yumemi who had run away from the battle escaping from Mizutenrai's army reunites with her sister Jasmine and both go back to Kina kingdom. Jasmine is exhausted and overjoyed to have her sister back in her arms. She wonder too over the fact that Dion- her right hand man -should worry of her leaving too soon if the war should end . She comforts him,saying she will probably never leave for she loves being Queen of Kina and her people too much.  But Yumemi has other plans-fearing for the safety of the dark tablets she returns after some days to Dark kingdom in secret fearing for the safety of the dark tablet.


Cameron however finds her and magically imprisons her away in a deserted basement-and he himself returns to the central dark kingdom where a series of circumstances lead him to be saved at the border of Light and Dark by the Queen Faina.


Faina meanwhile falls in love with this 'dark soldier' who she aids and sneaks into her kingdom. In Light kingdom after what seems to be an earthquake Faina helps Cameron escape. Cameron escaped from Faina's room by a secret passage,comes to the outside world and reunites with his fellow goddess-Dorian Lady of the Earth. It was her rising from her tomb that caused the earthquake and she reunited with her fellow comrade conspires towards a secret plot.

Aiding and abetting the escape of what was surely a dark soldier,Faina is asked whether she would either step down or go to jail for treason against her own country. Faina decides to decline the crown,is stripped of her title, and made to live as a common person in her own land. Aurora becomes a democracy and is ruled by the light council.


Meanwhile Wind Ruler indeed sends a letter of alliance to light-the true ruler Tadayoshi -sends his best lady Ayame to aid in this matter.

Faina's conscience later comes to bother her as news of an alliance proposed by the wind kingdom comes to light. Her conscience screams at her telling her truths Faina does not want to hear and in despair she runs away from her own image.

Her "conscience" however turns out to be a physical Dorian-disguising herself as Faina she makes to re elect herself to the throne and meddle in the affairs of Light.


Faina meanwhile runs away to the dark kingdom to Cameron,realizing fully that she loves him and he her. As she explored the town while Cameron is away,she recalls memories of her family of Enkai and the others, back in feudal Japan. But her identity is compromised at this crucial moment and she runs away from a very angry mob of people.


Meanwhile in Mizutenrai Captain Entei crosses into Ashenvale to steal the queen back,after her disappearance is covered up in the kingdom. He sneaks into the castle ,hears the screaming of a lady and finds Ame lying senseless in King Enkai's arms. Entei is then captured but later with the help of an inside man-who turns out to be Haruka-frees the queen and escapes to Mizutenrai leaving Haruka behind. After a romantic encounter with Enkai causes her to recall a distant the memory itself is blanked out for pain struck her at that instant and she remembers it no longer.

Kina receives her reply from Ame and is welcomed into the kingdom.

Story Synopsis. Part I

The Seven elementals-who were friends before in the Japanese samurai world which was feuding-fell into the land of Koukou-Oukoku.

The seven friends met each other in faith and by chance in Feudal Japan.Each of them correspond to the seven elements from which they draw their powers.

Ame -the water elemental-is a gentle firm person who believes in justice. She is cheerful,kind, slightly shy but generally sweet to her friends. She sports long wavy blue hair,has a wiry slim build and is generally seen in wide sleeved kimonos.


Enkai-the lightning elemental-is a mischievous ,flirty but well meaning blond spiky guy. He expects nothing from others due to his upbringing so when Ame gave him a bowl of ramen when he was starving hungry he was drawn to her. Ame loves him because he loves her to be herself which till that point never found anyone who could understand her small gestures as well as he did.


Jasmine-the fire elemental- is a noble loving individual who would do anything and everything for her family. Fiercely Loyal to Yumemi and her friends she sports a fire gem at her throat which Enkai gave to her when she came to work at the same shop as Ame did.


Yumemi -the dark elemental-is a nervous overly protective girl loyal to her sister but jealous of anyone who fusses over her older sister. She is wary of Enkai ,who despite being nice to her, has always been a source of jealousy for her. She alone has the ability to have her element as a living counterpart to whom she can communicate. She can summon dark fire and is able to use shadows and inky black masses to fight enemies.


Faina-the light elemental-was a runaway orphan till she espied Enkai,Ame,Jasmine and Yumemi from a tree she had climbed. She is unsure,insecure and stubborn but is silly and happy at times, and true to the friends she made in the first four she met. She is able to make her skin glow and can create holograms out of light.


Tadayoshi-the wind elemental-ran away from his home and literally slammed into Ame when Ame was returning from the market for their food. In his frenzy he tried to cut her but she threw a water ball in his face which surprised him to his senses. Since he met her first he learned of how there were others like himself and is fonder of her than the other elementals since she behaved kindly with him.


Koudou Elija is the last of elementals to be found. Unlike the others he was found living alone and doing well. Since he was a farmer,being an earth elemental actually helped his status and he was able to disguise his powers. Tadayoshi tells the others of the rumors of an earth elemental in the north and when they travel there,they find shelter at his house. Jasmine is the one who notices the strange energy he emits due to his being an elemental and when they spy on him they tell him of their powers too. It takes Koudou longer to trust them since he was living alone for so long but he does decide to travel with them eventually since he wishes to see the world.


The seven friends are sent at a moment when they would be captured by the military into the kingdom of Koukou Oukaku-the kingdoms of the seven element.This land is divided into seven regions of seven powers-which match with the heroes’ powers-

Lightning,Water,Fire,Earth,Dark,Light and Wind.

Unfortunately-although having known each other previously in the Samurai world of Japan-have all knowledge of their friendships and each other erased-thus orphaned and strangers in a completely new world.


Faina and Ame end up as partners,while the rest of the 5 elementals find their way into their respective elemental kingdoms.

To a rude awakening-not only are they the rulers of their elemental kingdoms-but the kingdoms are at war with each other.

Neighbor against neighbor....


At the beginning of the RPG we saw Water queen Ame creating schemes for the battle on her raging warfront with the lightning kingdom.

The young couple-who were best friends and lovers back in Feudal Japan-are now bosom enemies each trying to outdo each other with battle strategies.


Meanwhile in The Fire kingdom-Lady Jasmine in her opulent palace before a sacred fire conjures a vision that shows all seven elementals-and a faint connection between all of them-but before she can pry anymore further into her energy saps away she loses her vision.She is then alerted to The Lightning King approaching her city and goes to meet him, preparing for his arrival.


In the kingdom of darkness meanwhile-Tsuke a dark mage who is now the only bosom friend of Lady Yumemi-and the Leader of the House of Shadows which is of the royal kingdoms charge,has confrontations with his alter egos regarding the death of his brother Mikadsuki whom he had to kill.

He then meets with the head of the House of the Black Widow-spies of the kingdom lasting many generations-that the Fire Kingdom has recently ascended a New Queen.


Meanwhile Faina now The Queen of the Aurora kingdom. She has developed her skills to enable the defense of the kingdom allowing no one within its realm.Faina now in an alliance with Queen Ame and at her alliance she readily provides light soldiers.


Faina though is troubled now knowing who to trust -not even Ame


Time passes and we see Koudous ruler plagued by nightmares,when he then is informed of the Dark Queen Yumemi


Yumemi-beautiful and deadly -with deadly calm directly forces his hand and enters into an alliance with him. Though it is clear that while Koudou sees this as a good sign for his own kingdom it is clear Yumemi is up to something.

Yumemi is indeed a dark queen-unstable and alone however strong she appeared to The ruler of earth. She relies on Tsuke and Delequa for support.

But to her odd childish side there is a terrible rage and thirst for blood. And a cunning unbound.


Yumemi pays a visit to Faina-and convinces her that an alliance with the dark kingdom is in her best interests to end the war and makes Faina break off her alliance with Water. Faina agrees and fears a confrontation with Queen Ame.


Enkai meanwhile battles through Fire kingdoms defenses in order to get to Jasmine-he plans and ends up threatening a large man. They do battle-lightning and fire flash as he demands to be allowed to see Queen Jasmine-after met with some resistance Enkai then earns the soldiers respect and is allowed to see her.


The scene then switches to a scene in Ames palace where a plan for the defense of Mizutenrai(Water)kingdom is finalised.Messengers sent to Earth and Wind have not returned much to Ame's worry and she retires.


Faina meanwhile realizing she must break her alliance with Ame rushes to the Mizutenrai kingdom with her faithful bodyguard Kyousou to tell Ame the alliance is off.


We then return to the dark Kingdom-and see Tsuke and the mention of the mysterious Cameron who has something to do with the alter egos that Tsuke has been battling himself with.

Delequa who remains by Queen Yumemi's side she’s her plagued by visions in her sleep and is able to see her dreams. He grins as she wakes and goes with her as she takes counsel with Tsuke.



Kyousou knocks down a tree as they race on to the water kingdom -comforting her though she feels sick at the thought of seeing Ame.

At the gate she is guided by a surprised General Tamahome to one of the gardens near the kingdom. Faina has used the forest route to gain entrance to Ames palace instead of going up the pathway in public.

After a wait Ame meets them glad to see her 'friend' after so long-to her sadness Faina says the alliance between them is over having gone over to Yumemi’s side.

Gravely Ame nods but replies that as soon as Faina leaves her kingdom she will no longer be her friend-but an enemy of her and her people. Faina heads back with an escort of soldiers gravity hitting her to what she has done


Delequa-who on seeing Yumemi’s vision-goes to find out about it-and finds only dead bodies in the room he has seen in the dream.

For a moment he feels confused-nothing seems like it went on here-a ritual gone wrong-a minute later a dark cloud swirls over the bodies-along with an eerie screech-it takes the shape of a face-and disappears. Delequa returns to tell Yumemi the news.


Over in the water kingdom Ame is stricken by the news-left with no alliance she despairs and tells all her feelings to the general. With both messenger to Fire and Lightning killed she feels certain doom is upon them. Tamahome then convinces her to stay strong for the sake of the citizens as it rains.


Meanwhile Faina likewise confused sleeps uneasily under a tree unaware that spy from darkness is watching her-and is nearly caught as she springs up from a nightmare.



Meanwhile Jasmine prepares to welcome the king as she hears of a messenger from the water kingdom that was burned and realizes Ame may think her hostile.She sends Kina-a phoenix -to find out information about Yumemi whom she is sure holds the key to some hidden past memory.She changes and greets the Fire King feeling with some shock that she has a vague recollection of him from somewhere. He likewise feels the same. After spending some time in the palace Enkai and Jasmine declare an alliance and peace between themselves.As the alliance is settled Enkai immediately prepares to leave the next day. Jasmine takes her leave-and makes a secret rendezvous with a reliable man only called Jenia at this time. She pays him handsomely and gives him a letter which is to be delivered to Ame directly. With some questions Jenia leaves.Jasmine then encounters a dark elf from earth country that she sends away with a message of peace.


Later a dream reveals that Yumemi was-in the Feudal world-Jasmines younger sister-not only that but both of them had run away together when their parents accused Yumemi of being a demon. Jasmine used her own powers to overpower them and fled.


Winds ruler-Haruka then enters the picture as Ames messenger finally enters the Nexus*wind*kingdom and gains and audience with winds ruler. He convinces them to come with him to see Queen Ame. They set out the next day for Mizutenrai.


Faina dreams then show how she had previously met Enkai and Ame from the Feudal world-hiding in a tree she watched them as a child in a tree before being spotted. Unfortunately she is awakened before the dream can fully sit in her mind and is lost as Faina continues back to Aurora.Faina spots a movement in the trees but before she can fully understand who it is, Kyousou calls her back and she returns to the kingdom deep in thought.


Koudou then discusses with the council of the possibility of another alliance-not just with Yumemi-distrusting the dark ruler greatly. He receives word from his elf that Jasmine is interesting in meeting with him in person for a truce.


When Lord Haruka arrives in the midst of much hubbub Ame greets him cordially though his silence is daunting. The next day his bodyguards and himself along with Ame form an aid alliance Haruka promising he will allow no one to enter his kingdom and that he will provide arms where he deems necessary as well as health aid.

Ame relieved that an alliance is formed is then alerted of bandits in her kingdom-

To everyone’s horror as they are out in the courtyard discussing their capture of the theives-Winds ruler is cruelly assassinated,blood spattering over Ame who was right next to him.

Ames shock and sorrow is replaced by relief as it turns out the bodyguard was Haruka-the man that was shot was just a decoy. Ame and the real Haruka part ways in peace as she gives him a mirror and her tears.

Meanwhile in the dark kingdom depict two people-Crave a young count and his mentor Dunlop,a godfather of sorts notorious in the Dark kingdom. They are revealed to not only to have made contact with Yumemi but having a plot to gather the 7 tablets of power and use her for that very end. Dunlop plans to keep Crave as ruler with Yumemi’s help. He is responsible for various mysterious happenings in the kingdoms and he now allies himself with Yumemi.

Tsuke meanwhile is slowly loosing himself to the demons within himself and Delequa notices this quietly.
